I will be taking part in the Newburyport Literary Association's annual celebration of books and authors, a two-day festival in northern Massachusetts featuring a diverse group of writers including Andre Dubus III, Wally Lamb, Richard Russo, Claire Messud, Hallie Ephron, and many others. I will be participating in a workshop called "Scene of the Crime" with Julia Spencer-Fleming and then doing a talk on the writing of Massacre Pond.
