Paul will give a short reading followed by Q&A and a book-signing at the Monhegan House, an inn on lovely Monhegan Island, ten miles off the coast of Maine. This event is free and open to the public (but keep in mind that the last ferry leaves the island at 4:30pm). Seating is very limited. There are three ferries that run to the island; cars are not allowed.

A limited number of copies of his 10th and most recent crime novel ALMOST MIDNIGHT, featuring Maine game warden Mike Bowditch, will be available for purchase.

Thompson Free Library - Dover-Foxcroft, ME

Paul will read from his ninth and most recent crime novel featuring Maine game warden Mike Bowditch as part of the Thompson Free Library’s James Brown Lecture Series.

The James Brown Lecture Series has been endowed with memorial funds donated to the Library in memory of Brown, who lost his life in a boating accident in 2008. The series presents lectures on topics related to history, literature, and culture, areas of the humanities of great interest to Brown.

As Foxcroft Academy’s longtime English department chair, Brown helped two generations of students explore the world of books. He was president of the Thompson Free Library Association and led its Executive Committee during the capital campaign that resulted in construction of a library addition in 2006.
