I decided to get a little geeky at Maine Crime Writers today. A couple of years ago, my friend Wayne Curtis—author of the fantastic book And A Bottle of Run: A History of the World in Ten Cocktails—recommended that I check out a word processing program called Scrivener. He said it had revolutionized the way he was assembling information into articles and books. I was skeptical at first, but Scrivener won me over after about ten minutes of use. I explain why here.
