Hollywood still hasn't discovered the future box office sensation and Academy Award winning property that is The Poacher's Son. But that doesn't stop me from dreaming of the ideal cast for the story. Charley seems to me the prime role. I would imagine that lots of older actors, from Clint Eastwood to Harrison Ford, would enjoy playing him. Mike has always been harder to cast in my imagination. I suppose it doesn't matter. A film agent once told me that authors don't have a clue about the best stars to play the characters in their books. Who do you think should play Mike Bowditch?
